Current Event 1.1

What are the causes of global warming? If you think it's because of cars using fossil fuel, fires, and factories, then you're right. But have you ever considered the forests to be a cause of global warming? Or should I say the lack of forests. That's right, because of the lack of forests the conversion from carbon dioxide to oxygen is growing smaller and smaller for each tree that is gone. When a tree is burned or chopped down, all of the carbon dioxide it sucks and stores will be released. By the end of 2030 more than half of the Amazon forest would be cut down which would cause 20.5 billion tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
